Wondering if you were going to have attorney Stone comment on this? Heard rumors the class action was tossed. Not sure what that means in terms of the underlying case, if true. Perhaps one of your esteemed attorney contributors would make a comment. Of course, I'm still waiting to hear what some of them think about the ATLA affinity program. Remarkably silent on that...

I will in fact be interviewing Ralph Stone this week. For those who hadn't heard there was an appeals court decison in CT on Macomber and the class certification. I've posted the pdf of the file in a link on the front page where I am making the intitial announcement.

As to the affinity program i've had a lot of smoke, no fire. Very few trial lawyers want to rock the boat publicly, but I have MANY who feel it's a rotten concept. There is a podcast in the Civil Action Radio archives where Jan Schlichtmann comments on it, and I hope to have a few of the state trial lawyer directors weigh in on this one.
